First and foremost, we extend our warmest wishes for a Happy New Year. We hope that this year brings prosperity and joy to each of you.

We would like to provide an update on the current status of Villa Happenings: as we embark on the new year, we are operating without a license to sell alcohol. The last few years have necessitated some difficult decisions, but we are committed to ensuring that our employees stay compensated and our vendors paid. While we recognize that this situation is not ideal for a German-European restaurant, it is a necessary step for us at this time. We understand that some of you may choose to visit us less frequently or not at all due to this limitation. However, we hope that our exceptional food and experience will encourage you to join us and perhaps try one of our zero-proof cocktails on our new Dry January menu, which we is expanding daily. We have been pleasantly surprised by the variety of non-alcoholic beer options available and are also offering some zero-proof wine selections. We welcome your feedback regarding these offerings, as we aim to refine our menu based on your preferences. Enjoying a drink without the concern of a hangover or the need for a designated driver can enhance your experience. Additionally, we will be introducing CBD-infused options for those seeking the calming effects typically associated with alcohol as well as other options. This transition is new for us, and we are dedicated to making the most of it as we navigate these challenges. Our foremost concern remains the sustainability of our business, and we strive to keep our pricing accessible for all. In comparison to many restaurants in our area we maintain that our pricing is one of the most affordable.

With over 50 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a destination for our community. We sincerely thank you for your continued support over the years and hope to count on you to uphold the Villa tradition for as long as we are able to do so.

We will always remember and strive to carry your legacy Patricia Schaffer. The daughter, sister, aunt, friend and huge community advocate. Her dream of building community and having a food truck will be carried on in the Villa Wagen and a community building restaurant.
